The Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center (MSKTC) summarizes research, identifies health information needs, and develops information resources to support the Model Systems programs in meeting the needs of individuals with spinal cord injuries (SCI), traumatic brain injuries (TBI), and burn injuries (Burn) and is funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).
HeadSpin created the MSKTC website and research tool that meets the needs of the consumers and families while balancing the massive amount of content for the subject at hand. We decided on a custom Content Management System that allows the team to quickly create and manage the hundreds of pages of content in the system.
The system also acts as a searchable repository of Projects and Publications that MSKTC administrators can add/edit to the system used by researchers. It is the most simple and elegant CMS solution we've seen to date as all of the editing happens right on the page with no backend system to learn.
